John Ooi

John Ooi has been married for almost 4 decades and has 6 adult children. He has served in several organisations that support families and is author of two books - Learning to Love: Questions and Answers on Human Sexuality for Teenagers and Balancing Work and Family and Enjoying it.

John works as a consultant to private education institutions to develop their quality assurance systems to meet the registration and certification requirements. Previously, he had served in a local polytechnic for 26 years playing a major role in developing, documenting and running its quality system. John holds degrees in engineering and education. He was awarded the Public Administration Award (Bronze) by the President on National Day 2002.
